Boerne Utilities tree trimming to begin July 13

2026 Tree Trimming Schedule Boerne Utilities

Some Boerne Utilities customers can expect to see crews trimming trees near power lines in their neighborhoods starting Monday, July 13.

Crews will work each day over a four-week stretch, weather permitting, to ensure tree limbs stay a safe distance from power lines.

Scheduled Neighborhoods

Bentwood

The following streets in or near the Bentwood neighborhood are included in the maintenance schedule:

  • Bentwood Drive
  • Deer Creek
  • Greyhound Lane
  • Deer Hollow Drive
  • Glade Drive
  • Terrace Drive
  • Vista Verde Drive

Map outlines streets near Cibolo Crossing scheduled for tree maintenance

Cibolo Crossing

The following streets in or near the Cibolo Crossing neighborhood are included in the maintenance schedule:

  • Cibolo Crossing Drive
  • Cibolo Branch Drive
  • Cibolo Crest
  • Cibolo Basin Drive
  • Cibolo Bridge Drive
  • Johns Road

Map outlines streets near Moss Rose scheduled for tree maintenance

Moss Rose

The following streets in the area of Moss Rose Street are included in the maintenance schedule:

  • Moss Rose Street
  • Rosewood Avenue
  • Ivy Lane
  • South Esser Road
  • Rosebud Street
  • Azalea Trail

Property Access

The contractor doing the work, McCoy Tree Surgery, will notify customers at properties where crews will need to enter to access trees along the electric lines.

Notification tags will be placed on front doors about one week before work begins in each area. Crews will also knock on doors and speak with customers on the day work is performed at their property.

Managing trees and other vegetation near energized power lines maintains public safety and prevents damage to electrical infrastructure.

It also improves reliability by preventing common outage causes and provides safe access for crews to restore power quicker when there is an outage.
