The best community fireworks show this side of Cibolo Creek returns Saturday, July 4 at Boerne City Park. The show begins at 9:15 p.m. and should last 15-20 minutes.

Please note, Boerne City Park will only be available for parking this year to improve public safety and reduce fire risk. New this year, fields 1, 2 and 3 will be open to spectators. Items such as chairs, blankets and coolers will be allowed, however, pop-up tents, umbrellas and other staked fixtures are prohibited. Please note, some fields will remain closed because they fall within the required buffer zone or are closed for summer maintenance.
Spectators are invited to remain in the parking lot to enjoy the show.
Also new this year, music will be synched to the fireworks show and audible for those near City Park. For spectators further away, they can tune into our Boerne Radio 103.9 FM on their radio dial or online to hear the music.
Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis at City Park and Champion High School. Paid parking by donation will also be available at the Kendall County Fairgrounds.
The show is best enjoyed on a lawn chair or blanket, but we ask families not to bring tents to avoid blocking the show from the people around them. Lastly, though pets are not prohibited, it is best to leave them at home where they will be more comfortable and in a less noisy environment.
There will be food vendors at City Park serving fair style foods such as hot dogs, nachos, and snacks. Cash and credit card payments will be accepted.
Spectators can bring their own snacks and beverages, just remember that glass containers are not allowed.
Getting Home
Spectators can expect some traffic delays as everyone tries to head home. Officers will be at multiple intersections in and around the park and fairgrounds to help direct traffic.
If you park at City Park, you will have to turn right onto City Park Road when you leave. From there you can access Charger Boulevard or Herff Ranch Boulevard to get onto Highway 46. Spectators at the fairgrounds will exit onto Highway 46.

Citywide Fireworks Ban
Residents are reminded that City ordinances prohibit personal fireworks inside the City limits, which includes the Kendall County Fairgrounds.
